Letter from the Vice President of Recruitment

Hello, my name is Rachael Parsons, and I am truly overjoyed to introduce myself as Alpha Phi’s Vice President of Membership Recruitment 2026. When I first walked into the Alpha Phi house on night one of formal recruitment, I was greeted with open arms, and met women who were graceful, confident, and embodied the qualities I wished to cultivate within myself. This is the moment I knew I was meant to be an Alpha Phi. But even more, I felt called to make a difference in this chapter one day and lead the next generation of Alpha Phi women. I am deeply honored and grateful to carry on the Alpha Phi legacy and guide our chapter through recruitment this year.
Alpha Phi is more than just a sisterhood to me; it is home. The women I've met here have challenged me in the best ways, supported me when I needed it most, and most importantly, served as my greatest role models. Our bond is rooted in our shared values of character, innovation, generosity, and sisterhood. I’ve both learned from and grown alongside my sisters in ways that have changed me immeasurably. This kind of connection is stronger than friendship; it is family.
The formal recruitment process gives our members the opportunity to invite, educate, and connect with women interested in joining our organization. Our hope is that every woman who walks through our doors gets a glimpse into the special sisterhood we share. Over the course of three days, you will visit each Panhellenic chapter and engage in conversations about our traditions, philanthropies, and values. I encourage you to approach recruitment with an open mind and heart, entering each house as your most authentic self. We are committed to helping you find your home, and promise to guide you along the way as best we can. I take this position with great pride and responsibility, and intend to welcome every woman who steps into Alpha Phi with care and compassion, upholding our principles of truth, honor, and love. We look forward to meeting you soon.
Sincerely,
Rachael Parsons PC ‘23
